Mimitech here with a successful (old) motherboard repair. Found a small hole on the board that was interrupting one trace going to the RAM slots. After soldering a small wire through the gap, covering everything with solder mask, the computer now boots and posts.

My neighbor got a chihuahua so I built a comically large 1 kilowatt subwoofer to vibrate their windows whenever he's too noisy. (yes it takes up the whole kitchen table 🥺 )

Restored my 6 years old headphones, changed head strap and ear pads, removed all the sticky rubber coating with isopropyl alcohol. As good as new!
