while i don't think that copying another artist's work 1:1 for "trends" is on the same level of AI, there needs to be a serious discussion about stealing/copying and treating other artists and their work as "inspo"/turning their work into unwelcome trends they didn't consent to in the art community

thinking about the popularity of so many "redraw trends" and plagiarism of compositions by all sorts of artists (it comes up often for gposing but 2D artists do it too). i have to sum up my discomfort with it as follows: it's artists treating other artists the same way A/I treats art as data

should I worry about my EU fanfest merch preorder never happened ( order placed, never shipped?) is it cause its EU only so I may have caused error from the NA side...

the funny thing about my 'sketch style' I still go full wham on it but I swear some lines are a bit freestyling if its sketch for just myself I'll just scribb it if its sketch for commissioners no you will not get miniumn effort, I take ur money u get my best quality (of sketch)

I think its time to consider raising some of my commission price cause I feel I'm so worth it for that ( postive ) but aside from that I really wish theres a better way to show price-ranges cause some options will add up the price some just go for base price and quite some went for certain bonuses
