that WNBA woman was not suspended for 'standing up for LGBTQ+ rights' she was suspended specifically for standing up for trans women. language matters
something worth noting is that employment discrimination is a part of every trans persons life. if not legal, it is encouraged by framing us as "unprofessional" for existing or expressing ourselves.

1) it's not gender-affirming care when it's being foisted upon ppl w/o their consent. this policy is *invasive* 2) anti-trans GAC legislation is *also invasive* as it's designed to take away control of our own bodies. I know, it's sports, but it's women doing them. yes you are tall but so are they. people are constantly transvestigating them too. and yes you have it worse - but you are women, and deserve to see more like yourselves.
