We’re an award-winning literary journal housed at the University of Louisville and powered by a love of genre-bending literature.

You may have noticed we’ve been asleep all summer, but we’re stirring awake just to let you know that we are now open for submissions to our Fall 2026 issue. We’ll stay open until we reach our caps, which are set at 100 for each of our five regular categories. Hit us with your best stuff!

We're still riding high from celebrating local writing culture at our Mini-Book Fair. Who better to highlight from Issue 26, then, than Louisville local, Dante Novario? Read his thought-provoking poem in the issue on our website.

Now that Issue 26 is available, we can finally highlight the wonderful pieces available to read. “BUNKERS” by Whitney Collins is a fantastic place to start, with its biting wit, innovative structure, and moving characters. Don’t waste any more time and check it out in the issue on our website.

Big news! The moment you've been waiting for is almost here. Issue 26's Pub Day is just a weekend away, and you don't want to miss it. We have some fantastic poetry and prose headed your way, so stay tuned until April 20. 👀
