SHALLOW BLADE SATURDAY CONTINUES! Jam Guy and Phil record a podcast, meanwhile a mysterious character runs by... I really feel like at this point I get into a flow with this series. Andrew Oh started acting as an editor and his eye for quality really shows! I LOVE COMICS AND FRIENDS!
It keeps getting hotter. Forest fires are spreading, people are dying in heat waves, but the millionaires and billionaires who control most of the wealth in our society keep digging us deeper into this disaster. They are murdering the future. It's time to fight back. crimethinc.com/posters/merc...
SHALLOW BLADE EPISODE 8 PAGE 3! Some new faces enter the scene? What's their deal?? I'm gonna start posting these every Saturday now instead of Thursday because Shallow Blade Saturday sounds nicer
My friends and I made a new furry magazine! Go check it out!
SHALLOW BLADE EPISODE 8 PAGE 2! Shallow goes home and Mike gets ready for bed and that's pretty much it.
SHALLOW BLADE PART 8! Shallow LOVES swords! But she HATES school! At least her dorm roommates are cool. I'm gonna start posting them one page at a time instead of entire chapters because they look nicer on bluesky that way. Tune in next week for chapter 8 page 2!
SHALLOW BLADE CHAPTER 7! Shallow has another run-in with dubious hall monitors! Meanwhile, Jaques picks a fight with Mike! The jacket Mike is wearing was a real jacket I wore through highschool, and the character on their shirt is Enzo Garza's character Gutt Ghost! Love comics, hate authority ❤️
Shallow Blade chapter six! The post office brings Shallow an important message! Meanwhile, it's more bad news for Jaques! The magazines Shallow got in the mail are the same ones this story was printed in, so I guess she likes reading about herself. Also, you can print and cut out the postcard!
It's Thursday and that means it's time for another episode of SHALLOW BLADE! This one was the winter special printed in December 2020. I'm a big fan of holiday specials :) I was also reading Thoreau's Civil Disobedience at the time. I LOVE COMICS!
I'm sorting through a bunch of my tapes. This one is one of my prized possessions! Girlfriends by Jerry Joiner on cassette! I checked ebay every week for two years looking for this thing 🙏
THIS WEEK'S EPISODE OF SHALLOW BLADE! PART FOUR! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This one was made in October 2020 and has a cameo from Luis Diaz's character Video Witch, which was another comic running in No, Nothing Mag at the time. There's also Sayaka because I was watching Madoka while drawing this
Shallow Blade part 3! A new challenger arrives! Another fight breaks out! Shallow shatters some jerk's self image! I love comics!
Shallow Blade page 2! From 2020 I'm going to be posting new pages each Thursday so keep an eye out
I'm going to be posting my old comic Shallow Blade over the course of the next few months! This comic originally ran mostly-monthly in No, Nothing Magazine between 2020 and and 2023. It's still my longest comic and the most fun I've had in the medium! Rip No, Nothing Mag, best zine of their time
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 I LOVE QUEER PEOPLE! I LOVE QUEER ART!!!!
I think I made this one in 2022? Still a favorite of my autobio comics
WIP of the cover for Mirthful March! Zine #5, coming out later this month at Grid Zine Fest
Another piku painting! But this time it's emo? And also glows in the dark
