I upset my Russian friend last night by reiterating the stats we've seen about the incredibly short lifespan of a Russian soldier. Some good news, about a terrible event: Man who killed Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband last year is sentenced to two life terms plus 40 years in prison. In a time when so much injustice appears rampant, its excellent to see justice being served at the State level.
