I've been trying to explore other compositions and yet I keep falling into the same head angle regardless 😭 it's my favorite one and it won't leave me lol. Do you guys have any tips/tricks to diversify your illustration compositions and avoid repeating stuff?
I've deleted Earthshine on Globalcomix. I feel uncomfortable uploading on a site that is actively pursuing AI tools and lenient towards AI usage, and did not address their previous AI use with other creators' works for promotions back in October.
Hey all, so I've been thinking about it for a good while If you enjoy reading my story, I'd recommend shifting away from Globalcomix. In a week, I'll be removing myself from Global Comix entirely.
Gen AI is theft. It steals from artists who never gave it permission, and artists long passed who never had the chance to. There is no ethical reason to use it. None. Just because it makes things quicker isn't a reason to steal and destroy the environment. We were fine without it.

This is a vent but I'm so tired of getting sick aaaa. I have 3 conventions to prepare for this month, 2 comics to draw, and other freelance work 😭 like this is the third time this winter, I'm so mad lol
It has now been THREE MONTHS and GlobalComix has not -released a public statement and apology to affected -given an action plan for changing things -changed their TOS to not allow AI comics (as promised) If they have done any of these things and I missed it I would LOVE for people to show me.

My art got compared to AI today. I know this happens to artists all the time now, and I've gotten good at taking crappy comments, but I'm genuinely devastated. It hurts so much to spend 7+ hours on a piece (I actually even redrew it because I was unhappy with the original). Then to hear that. Man.

It's so ridiculous to me when people who use AI use the excuse "but drawing takes so much time!!" and then admit to spending 3 hours on prompts just to get one piece of shading right 🤦♂️
