Geography Teacher at Braes High School🌍🍎

Today S2 were learning about the formation of headlands and bays along the coastline. We conducted an experiment in groups, using sediment, rocks 🪨 and a ruler. The sediment was our soft rock that is eroded quickly by the waves. The rocks represented the hard rock that is eroded very slowly.

Well done everyone for a great Winter term! :) Everyone should be so proud of the effort, resilience and progress they have shown. Now it’s time for a well deserved break! I hope you all have a lovely Christmas holiday! See you all in the New year ready for another great term at LHS!

Very proud of our S2s today! They were presenting at their Geography Christmas Fayre, to various S1 classes🎄🌍 Over the past few weeks S2 have been researching how Christmas is celebrated all over the world, by researching a specific country they were interested in!
