I am not interested in an interracial relationship, not because I don't find nonBlack people attractive (they are) but because I don't want to have to be subjected to (un)intentional racism, antiBlackness and microagressions in a relationship that should be my safe space.
My knee length extra small, extra boho knotless boho braid levels are LOW
My daddy used to stay telling me and my sister “if ALL you did was get a nigga? You ain’t did shit”
I been thinking about the salmon I had at Sun Chong. Larry Morrow ain’t shit but that nigga can make a restaurant!
Yerrrrrr! People of the internet, I’m tryna help a domestic violence survivor keep her car. She’s behind on her weekly payment fee. $258.66 has to be paid before midnight or they’re gonna come repossess her shit. Screenshots for proof incoming. Keeping this anonymous so she can stay safe.
In my early 20s I used to care about being a top performer on a job. I stayed getting promotions within 3 months of being on a job. But now? Girl I don’t give a fuck because ima ask for the pay I want out the gate 😭
Mary Ruth’s is absolutely worth the money. Some of them bottles be $60. But… ima buy em every time lol
It’s only 6:30 and I’ve already made breakfast, packed lunchboxes, ironed, and did a load of laundry. Being a mama just be having me slaving at dawn fr

& while we’re talking about museums, you need to make it to the Whitney Plantation in Louisiana. It is the only plantation in the country dedicated to telling the story of slaves and not the slave owners.
I’m so tough because I’m a true direct descendent of ancestors who had to be. I played in a house as a child that was a literal slave quarter, given to my great grandmother. I’m only 33 but I played in a slave quarter house. I’m not far removed from slavery at all
& if you can’t get there, talk to older southern Blacks. My grandma was 12 the first time she saw someone lynched. My grandma not even 80 yet.
It's heavy to be there but if you get a chance to visit The Legacy Museum in Montgomery you'll see how insidious and pervasive lynching has been in this country
My 11 year old got in trouble at school for telling someone “I’d rather be fat than kin to a crackhead” it’s the 2nd day of school bro what the fuck
