If Donald Trump had even half of a functioning brain and any courage, he would destroy Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) for accusing Trump of 9 million murders yesterday when he said the vaccines created by Operation Warp Speed killed 9 million Americans. Trump is not just a fascist, he’s also a coward.

In my grade school days (40+ years ago), Ayn Rand-fanboy friends would tell me that the FDA was unnecessary, because the market would impel food & drug producers to provide unadulterated goods, for fear of losing their reputation. A lot of lettuce is telling me that was always explosive diarrhea.

Just got out of Quentin Tarrantino’s adaptation of the Odyssey. Lots of lingering shots of sandals. Samuel L. Jackson as Zeus was an interesting choice. He also jammed Oedipus into the story, mostly so the gods could berate him with a pungent 12-letter epithet.

Just got out of Greta Gerwig's adaptation of the Odyssey. Opening with Calypso (Saoirse Ronan) was a fascinating choice, especially given the mic drop of Suzanne Vega that centers the opening storm & shipwreck where she rescues Odysseus (David Tennant). Timmy C as Telemachus chewed too much scenery.

According to Donald Trump's eulogy of Lindsay Graham, "There never was a war that he did not like." That is a hell of a legacy. Sen. Graham was "a late riser" (for people older than 25 years old, that usual means, "always nursing a hangover"). An awful man, who lived in misery & spread it.

I may be deluded, but I believe that it's likely that I (who currently has no significant financial assets) will end my life with a greater financial net worth than Elon Musk. I also believe that it's far more likely that when I will die, I'll pass with my honor intact & surrounded by loved ones.

Yesterday, we celebrated the life of Marion Percell Fish, who was an icon in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. Obituary if photos. She literally wrote the book on Money Laundering Prosecutions, teaching the whole DOJ. She prosecuted over 1,000 cases, without fear or favor.
