According to the USDA, who administers the program, last year 51% of SNAP recipients worked fulltime. Where do those fulltime employees work? Amazon, Walmart, and McDonald’s. If your business model depends on your employees being on public assistance, then your business model is broken.

Interesting that the post that this is a reply to is now blocked. As I recall it was someone bewildered by concern about “marginal increases in the price of gas”. Along the lines of “what’s the big deal, it’s only a buck a gallon. my road trip only costs an extra $30…”

Except that the marginal price of gas increases the transportation cost of everything you purchase. And the cost of agricultural production - fuel to cultivate, plant, spread, spray, and harvest. In addition to the increased cost of ammonium nitrate fertilizer made from oil.
