Mithras - Left Justified and Ancient

If I'm miserable, then everybody's miserable. Co-host: RDA Tech Talk. Producer - Radio Dead Air. I have a brain like a pachinko machine.
For the first time ever today, I had to work on a user's computer, where they had put raised gel caps on all the keys. I later came to learn that this is a "women with long finger nails thing". It was, though, extremely disconcerting.
Somehow, I won the Trial of Style (a periodic event) in WoW with ~THIS~ outfit.
It's very interesting that as soon as David Hearn's lawyers asked for grand jury notes and recordings, that U.S. Attorney Jeanine "Boxwine" Pirro dropped the charges.
It took a bit, but I figured it out in a way that might make @kevinmkruse.bsky.social applaud. Re: Jason Rantz. My man looks like Eddie Munster had a child with Chucky, and abandoned said child at a defunct Men's Warehouse.
At this point, vis-a-vis Indian food, my policy really needs to be, "Figure out what you want, then order half of that, because the whole thing will be too much for one meal." I do not have this problem* with any other food. *Not really a problem.
(Work) User presents problem. Me: Ok, I'll be in there in about 15 minutes to take care of it. User: Why 15 minutes? (with a hint of 'why not now') Me: Because with the morning I've had, I need to listen to System of a Down - Chop Suey at least 4 more times. User: ....ok.
Isn't it the "extremely motivated" column that normally has the higher number?
oh
Sub-300. That's got to hurt. I know it hurt me. Because I was laughing so hard.
So, @akivamcohen.bsky.social / @questauthority.bsky.social, is it normal for a judge to say not to file written responses to their questions before the hearing? In the context of, "We're going to have a hearing, on <date>. I will be asking <list>. Do not file a written response ahead of time."
Holy shit. That is the best response ever.
and then Andrew Tate closed replies 😂
This is literally a voting system from Shadowrun. The Pueblo Corporate Council used this basic system. Every citizen had a share in the government. And you got a number of votes equal to the log base-10 of your shares, plus 1. You could buy more shares, but...
Very cool that Shopify’s CEO thinks the poor should have far less of a vote than the rich. Still worth that ad read money, folks?
Editorial cartoon: Schrodinger's McConnell. With thanks to @neolithicsheep.bsky.social for alerting me to this phrase :)
(Work) How many times do I need to say a variation of, "When I know, I'll let you know" before this user will leave my cube?
There is no more ignored "No Loitering" sign than the one next to the Pokemon vending machine at the grocery store.
@mostlybree.kitrocha.com random question: You know those little 3-D frogs you include in orders? Is there any way to order like a 24 pack of random sparkle frogs? I sort of want a row of them on top of my monitor.
Wait. Is ~this~ how "everything is Taco Bell" from Demolition Man happens?
Honestly, their biggest mistake is thinking that Americans will side with the government over Taco Bell. Talk about not knowing your constituents.
(Work) User: <system> won't let me set a password! Me: On the password screen, is there a list of requirements? User: Yes, and I did them all! Me (internal): No, you didn't. Me: Do some of them have green check marks, and others red x marks? User: Yes. Me: You need to fix the red x marks. User: Oh.
I'm betting that they will get the bots to swear within a week.
A kid will break this uncanny valley monstrosity the first week. I dont want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but I keep reading about AI learning being pushed HARD on young kids. They are stealing these kids data while getting them dependent on AI at a malleable age www.pcmag.com/news/a-robot...
And releasing a half-baked Streamdeck knockoff probably won't help these goals.
It's a bloodbath.
Training for MS Teams should include: Never start a Teams conversation with anything like, "Am I bothering you right now?"
