The most difficult part of Apothecaria so far has been the prologue. It details the events that lead to the creation of the city. It's all pre-written, and I just need to reword it in a way that you can feel the MC's opinions and biases echo through the narration. #storywriting #worldbuilding

I think one of my favorite description I ever used in a #TTRPG setting had to be the Grand Library in Apothecaria. Huge building but only a ninth of it is accessible. Large indestructible glass panes block off the rest of the building. One character managed to sneak past the glass.

I try to avoid retcons with writing Apothecaria, but 100% there'll be intentional misinformation strewn throughout the story. Facts change and evolve over time. Rumors and gossip get mixed up with reality. There's bound to be uncertainty with some tales and myths. #storywriting

Gross, got followed by some Gen AI writer. Blocked. Apothecaria will never resort to AI. I even have basic non-generative ones turned off, like spell checkers and grammar checkers. If there's a msitake, it stays.
I should really get into animating. I'd love to make a music video for Apothecaria where it's just a focus on hands of different characters.
