A wandering GM with a hyperfixation on telling a good story.

I feel like if we're using Vancian magic in our #osr games, let's make it COOL, right? For Roll for Death, Everyone starts out with 10 Blood (up to 12 if you're an athlete). Arcanists wager Blood for power (Which is why mages are easy to beat up). Art by Strega Wolf.

The initial pitch for Arcanists in Roll for Death. You spend Blood to buy spells. This DOES make wizards cool at level 1, but their progression is based on the narrative of "Working with the Patron to get cooler stuff".

Since dark and brooding #ttrpg content is in right now, I present one of my own. It will be a D6 system (cause if it's good enough for chainmail, it's good enough for fantasy systems), and it will have a detailed Justification table explaining why it's cool to beat up that guy and rob him blind.

A cover for an RPG called "Roll for Death" with a prominent Barbarian and a cast of interesting characters. Art by Dieselshot.

Just because I love numbers: There are 1.4 million people living in the Bronx. The Bronx has about 200 large grocery stores and 2600 Bodegas/ smaller stores (cocktail napkin math). Mamdani's adding one store. The location it's going to is about 40~% of the population is below the poverty line.
