If you're aiming for a remote junior role, take writing seriously. It's how distributed teams do most of their work: pull requests, docs, the daily back-and-forth. Someone who can explain their thinking clearly in writing is a real green flag for anyone hiring onto a remote team.

Gym question for UK people: Do people usually change into clean (ie never worn outside) gym shoes when they arrive? In Denmark, this is the expected behavior. Isn‘t in the US. I’ll be in the UK next week and am not sure what to bring!

This morning at the gym, I finally “got” why people like weights/machines. Just kept ratcheting up the weight until I physically couldn’t do more As a gymnast, conditioning has always been a necessary evil to me—never enjoyable on its own. But I genuinely had fun, and I am still shocked by this
