I love The New Eves, and this solo track from one of its members is great. But if someone had said this was an outtake from Horses, I wouldn't have questioned it. Not necessarily a bad thing!

First come across this band a few years ago via the song Antabus, which I recommend highly! Some of the best swearing ever in a pop song. Sounds exactly like one of the really good Lukas Moodysson films.

I went to the same high school as Mike Skinner. I didn't know him then, but met him once later as we both went out with the same girl from our school. She claimed Dry Your Eyes was written about her; no idea if that is true!

This shot (I seem to remember dogs running past too) has stuck with me for years; the scene inside this bar feels like it might have inspired Lynch. Tarr passing has really got to me, one of the all time greats.
