ONE MAN LEFT We are once again asking for the Met to offer a shred of consistency if they are going to enforce this unjust and absurd law. After hundreds were arrested outside the US Embassy in London, one man was ignored. End the madness. Lift The Ban on Palestine Action.

One of the groups most screwed by Shabana Mahmood’s cruel plan are people with Indefinite Leave to Remain who are about to retire. They will fail the income requirements and get deported after paying into the UK system most of their lives. It is cruel and it will affect my mum.

There was no mention of settlement or citizenship reform in the 2024 General Election manifesto. The Spring 2025 white paper (Starmer & Cooper) introduces 5-10 year idea. The compromise sounds more like that than very complex 8+ tier ( 3-5-10-15-20-50 year routes) plan proposed Nov 2025 by Mahmood

The party did not mention citizenship or settlement in its 2024 manifesto but has embarked on an enormously complex and controversial overhaul of indefinite leave to remain. Ethics aside, the government has underestimated the electoral risks of these proposals. While settlement is a complex, technical issue for most people, it is massively salient to the one million directly affected – mostly Commonwealth nationals with voting rights. That is why the reforms prompted the second largest consultation response ever, surpassed only by equal marriage.

New leadership will need to rebalance both rhetoric and policy to ensure clear rules without sacrificing fairness for care workers and others who have come to Britain. Most Labour supporters want to see a ten-year ceiling on settlement routes at most, not a 15 or 20-year wait. The unintended consequences of these rushed and flawed reforms will be a large spike in the undocumented

ARRESTED WITH SARAH HELM'S WORDS A woman has just been arrested outside the US Embassy in London for holding a sign with words mirroring the ones that the National Security Advisor's wife tweeted, and for which Met Police declared "did not meet the criminal threshold".

Kick out Trump's spy base! RAF Menwith Hill in Yorkshire plays a central role in the US missile defence system, which is meant to allow Trump to use nuclear weapons without fear of retaliation. It has also been linked to US war crimes in Iran and the genocide in Gaza.

ARRESTS CONTINUE Pensioners continue to be carried off by the police as hundreds are sat in defiance against the Trumpian ban on Palestine Action. The Met's overzealous response today exposes how far authorities in the UK will go to appease the US.

My email to parliament. I want to know why trans voices are being excluded from parliamentary discussion around the proposed Bill to ban conversion practices in the UK.

Dear Members of the UK Parliament,
I am writing to express my serious concern about the apparent imbalance in the organisations being invited to provide oral and written evidence to the consultation and parliamentary scrutiny of the proposed Conversion Practices Bill.
I understand that organisations including Sex Matters, LGB Alliance, the Gay Men's Network and various faith-based organisations have been involved in providing submissions and contributing to discussions surrounding this legislation
Aowever, I want to ask a fundamental question: Why are organisations whose positions on transgender rights are widely contestec being given opportunities to influence legislation concerning conversion practices, while trans people themselves appear to be so poorly represented or excluded from the process?
Conversion practices legislation is fundamentally about protecting people from coercion, abuse and attempts to change or suppress heir identity. Transgender people are among those directly affected by these practices. Their lived experiences should therefore be central to any meaningful consultation or legislative process,
t is deeply concerning that organisations speaking about trans people, their identities and their rights appear to be affordec bpportunities to shape this legislation, while the people whose lives will be directly affected are not being given equivalent opportunities to speak for themselves
I would therefore appreciate clear answers to the following questions:
What criteria are being used to select organisations invited to provide oral evidence and written submissions'
How many transgender individuals and trans-led organisations have been invited to give evidence, either orally or in writing? I know of Stonewall but they are not trans-led.
Vhat steps have been taken to ensure that the voices of transgender people are represented independently, rather than filtered throug organisations that may not share or represent their interests?
Why are organisation…
