I'm not sure if Nioh 3 was a tiny bit easier than its predecessors or if having Nioh 2 fresh on the mind made a difference but, minus a few difficult fights, I do think the overall difficulty eased up a bit in this one (at least near the end and with using skills much more wisely this time around).

Have made some really good progress so far today. Made it through the first boss of the Bakumatsu Period. Two left here, then the final stretch to end it. Probably do a bit of exploring and side mission completing, but might be able to finish it off by the end of the weekend. #Nioh3

Been having a tougher time getting into #Nioh3 than I did with #Nioh2. Probably need an extended gameplay session with it to really get going on it (hopefully this weekend?), but I don't think I am going to fly through this one like I did Nioh 2.

Gonna stay on the Nioh train while the base mechanics are fresh on my mind and so I don't have to spend time relearning everything later. Probably gonna take a day or two off, but it's the logical next step to go to 3 from here, especially with how much I enjoyed 2.

Tatarimokke just absolutely fucking wrecked my shit for about 3 or 4 hours. Been quite a while since I've felt that level of relief from beating something in a game, but man. Feels good finally getting past that. #Nioh2

Danganronpa 2X2 being delayed until 2027. Bummer, but at least that (theoretically) gives me more time to get through my backlog before that comes out. Now only gotta worry about Ace Combat 8 and GTA VI this year.

Will definitely revisit Borderlands 4 (and Wonderlands) in the future once I get through my backlog (and once all DLC for it comes out). I've played every previous Borderlands game at least twice, and that'll be no exception.

Currently about 20 hours into #Borderlands4. Very good as expected. Was hoping to be through it by Wednesday so I could be ready for Chapter 5 of #Deltarune, but I haven't quite had the time I expected to have. Ah, well. Quick detour on Wednesday probably. Then hopefully finish that this weekend.

Chapter 5 of #Deltarune comes out in two weeks, so I'm hoping to get through Borderlands 4 before that. Luckily, I've got a 4-day weekend coming up, so that's certainly looking doable and will help me put a big dent in accomplishing that.

Been taking a break from #BacklogTour2026 for a bit. Think I burned myself out a bit with the pace I was going early in the year. Been catching up on a few series/anime I have been meaning to watch/catch up on in the meantime. Hopefully get back to that within the near future, though.

NEWS: Kyle Busch, one of the purest racing talents NASCAR has ever seen and winner of more national series races than any driver in history, has died after falling severely ill, NASCAR announced. Busch was hospitalized this week and never recovered. He was 41. www.nytimes.com/athletic/729...
