this is a genuine issue in FOSS that still needs some serious addressing theres a ton of programmers in FOSS, but barely any creative professionals in FOSS, and i think there needs to be more done to help creative professionals be part of the development of creative FOSS
Chris Person@papapishu.bsky.social · 2mo agoGIMP is objectively unintuitive and also can’t parse text layers of PSDs properly, it’s designed by FOSS people that have never created tools for professionals. Telling someone to use it for their job is like saying you can make a feature on iMovie. Technically true but not serious.
