Head võidupüha! It’s Victory Day 🇪🇪 After WWI, Estonia fought to defend its independence against Soviet Russia and the Baltic German Landeswehr. On 23 June 1919, with Latvian support we won the decisive Battle of Cēsis/Võnnu. Today, we celebrate that freedom with our Allies.

A new chapter in Estonia’s air defence. 🇪🇪 IRIS-T SLM brings medium-range air defence to Estonia for the first time, strengthening our ability to counter air threats. A ceremonial handover of IRIS-T SLM systems from 🇩🇪 Germany’s Diehl Defence took place today.
