#pitchyagame Modforsaken is a knowledge-based progression puzzle game within a game: Deduce the names of townspeople to take control of them, unlock new areas the main character couldn't access, circumvent anti-piracy measures, and unearth sinister secrets buried in the game's code.

May 25th will be the one year anniversary of me coming up with the base idea for Modforsaken! Yippee! Mostly posting this so I remember.

Goals over the next 65 days: - Finish Game Design Doc for the demo + general outline for whole game - Finalize the town layout - Finish all interiors for areas accessible in the demo - Design all characters ???????? in the demo - After this is all done, bring a coder on board

Just wrote out a first draft of what will likely be the final piece of dialogue for Modforsaken and it makes me so emotional. I fall more and more in love with this project every day, somebody please just throw me a year's salary so I can quit my job and make this game full time!

In Modforsaken, you glitch and modify your way through the unfinished game-within-the-game called "Nevergreen" to uncover its secrets. Despite the classic RPG look, it functions more as a puzzle game.
