new job is going way better than expected to the point that in the past 2 weeks on the occasions i have cried it has not been about work 🥳

i really dislike how conversations feel in this game, like I like the cards coming up for different topics and seeing the success/fail chance but i hate how far apart they have to stand and I hate the lack of multitasking in general because why can't they sit and talk???
Oh yeah it's also impossible to find townies if you don't have a quest to complete for them Like your only option is to call them to your house by the looks of things ?? i tried dropping in on a few at their residencies and they just never turned up lmao

Also life update - I got a new job and I start there on Friday 🥳 It's a step out of hospitality which is fine by me because i was beginning to hate it, but it's at a chain retail store and I haven't worked for a chain anything for 8 years and I've not done retail in nearly 10 years
