(I cite this as an example of public misunderstanding of conservation and how it has real world impacts)
Taking my kids swimming with feeding whale sharks last week was definitely a top Proud Dad moment. The conditions off Isla Mujeres, Mexico were excellent. Sticking our heads in the sand for a few days was also therapeutic.
