I fell down a fucking weird rabbit hole. Random video suggested on YT. A Japanese guy whose family moved to America talking about the differences between the two countries. Plenty of other videos out there like that. I'm half-watching while doing other work, but something starts feeling off.

In an "old people using computers" moment, I have now learned that you cannot, in fact, gift people the Fortnite battle pass with vbucks after buying vbucks to gift my daughters the new battle pass. 😩

Finding deals on Facebook has felt miserable lately, until today when I randomly found someone selling off his old “Saga” games for $5 each. No super bangers, and they were almost all missing manuals, but a few pick-ups I was curious about.

I am not expecting much from this, but anyone out there an IP lawyer, or know one? I'm trying to get something figured out, and just want some quick guidance from one on if trying to hire an IP lawyer would be the right direction to go in or not.

Hi! Do you: * Own a Sega Genesis or Mega Drive that is easily accessible? * Know for sure what revision its internal board is? If so, please DM me! I need help testing something, and it'll take you 30 seconds or less if you've got the console(s) itself handy.

Oh Japan, I miss your beverage choices so much. Every day, I could pick something different and exciting. Every day, my mouth could enjoy a flavor nothing like the one it’d had the day before. And my beloved melon soda. 😩 America may be free, but our drink isles never will be.

Have a lot of unexpected thoughts about game shopping in Japan that I'll put into a blog later, but for now, Mollie's 2026 Japan Pick-ups! All prices US $1 = ¥160. First up: Issue 88 of Continue (which is now back in print) focused on Dreamcast for $11.25, and a used Apple HomePod Mini for $42.50.

There’s an 8 (or so) year old girl here playing Taiko no Tastijin on the hardest charts, with her own drumsticks, playing BOTH DRUMS AT ONCE, and every accomplishment I’ve made in video games now feels like nothing.

Anyone I follow know any HARDCORE Pokemon TCG people I could ask a few questions to? I'm trying to get a proper read on a few cards I have that have been very hard to get a real picture of due to rarity.

Anthony and I are going to do a shorter podcast episode tonight about Sony's physical games announcement. If you want to send over your thoughts for us to read, send me a DM here or email gvgp@morningproject.com.
