I've been saying this for years. The internet was the safest when no phone number and no id was required to sing up for any forum/socmed/website/email service. Anyone could be anything, meaning you treat every user with caution. Now it's easier than ever to track your data and do real harm irl.

This really reminds me of Eurovision 🙈 Jury panel votes according to current political situation (mostly supporting their neighbors and attacking their rivals). Olympic committee really needs to add audience voting to that system! And for an element of wtf, add AI scoring. Should be much more fun!
