Agreed! I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in ‘19 & just got my scan appointment for Oct, but I have to drive across the city. I can’t book my regular CT scan for late Aug/early Sept due to no availability. It’s scary! Pay-for-scans seems to be impacting wait times for patients like me.

This change is significant, as highlighted by emotional call-ins from patients and caretakers, including a mother who lost her daughter too soon, on Alberta at Noon. 🎧 Listen here!

Most times, living with terminal cancer REALLY sucks. That's probably an understatement. But sometimes, I reframe my mindset and use it for good: • Participate in research • Arrange to donate my body for cancer research • Write a song focused on my legacy. What do you do when you are handed 🍋?
