Ephemeral joy and nonsense joy and ecstatic joy and contemplative joy, the joy of being and of doing and of not doing and of burning it down and of building it up and anyway there’s lots of variations don’t be afraid, a little joy won’t make you unserious, it patches you up so you can be serious
