Leaving #CYC26 with a renewed sense of wanting to put more time into heads-down work, building products I want to see in the world and contributing to a vibrant community!

From the updated edition of 80,000 Hours, which I completed a couple of weeks ago. Main message is “to have a good career, do what matters. Get good at something and use it to help other people.”

I’m glad I was able to attend AWS Community Day Midwest. Learned about Lambda (including the open-source Lambda Power Tuning), AI agents, telling your story, and praising Nicholas Cage. (Shout out to #100Devs and #CYC26, which were both mentioned in some sessions!)
