Happy Summer festival season, @ultratofunii.bsky.social! I made some Okonomiyaki to celebrate, and they tasted amazing! The filling is cabbage, mushrooms, tempura scraps, and pickled ginger, and the toppings are Okonomiyaki sauce, Kewpie mayo, Welsh onion, fried garlic, and bonito flake.

Mixed blessing today at the Senate. Their version of the Kids Online Safety Act made it out of committee today, but their version of the SCREEN act didn't due to not meeting quorum. Be sure to use every day of the upcoming 5 week Senate recess to tell your senators to vote no on the former!

Hopefully what I'm about to say will calm down anyone who's worried about tomorrow's senate markup of the Kids Online Safety Act and SCREEN act: this is just a committee markup for the Senate versions of those bills, not a full floor vote. It would just move them to the full Senate chamber.
