I like constructive conversations! A lot of conversations are not constructive online and actually serve to be destructive especially if the one speaking is doing so not out of kindness, concern, or care. So I stick to having these convos irl or w/ small groups. We shouldn't stop discussing tho.
I also don't wanna have to become a contortionist to combat my child internalizing anti-blackness in ways I never thought of before, because I never had a non-black parent.

We knew license plate readers, PredPol, and “targeted enforcement” were used to effectively occupy particular communities with constant surveillance and harass anyone who left/lived there. We added capacity anyway.
Instead of taking on the power of policing directly we keep reaching for clever workarounds that are then used by the police to concentrate more power.
*giggles* Honestly, humans are remarkable to me. Just doing the same silly shit over and over and over again and not once ever going, "Huh... wtf is wrong with us???"
