Ozempic discourse is wild bc on one side you have “this is cheating, fat people should have to suffer/stay fat so we can keep mocking them” and on the other side you have “it’s a miracle, we can finally ELIMILATE the disgusting fat people, hooray!” Both sides just hate fat people

Under this is the assumption that it’s simple and easy to lose weight. “If they knew they were fat, they would have fixed it already.” And from this assumption, you get the stupid fat person trope which is all over media.

I was really feeling like I accomplished nothing in 2024 because I’m the only person on my feed who didn’t lose weight. I literally got a master’s degree this year. Not all accomplishments are visible on your body and the ones that aren’t still count.

redpill men see fat women as willfully making a choice to be fat and therefore intentionally making themselves unattractive to the male gaze. they are very intimidated by any woman who they see as not living for their approval, so they MUST take her down a peg.

Redpill dudes think women are delusional about their attractiveness because they refuse to settle. But you can be “mid” or full stop UGLY, know that, and still not accept poor treatment. They are really mad because it’s harder to take advantage of women they feel should be “easy targets.”

The logic of fatphobia is so contradictory…like fat people are assumed to be stupid bc thinness and self-deprivation is linked to intellectualism but then also assumed to be extra smart as compensation for their appearance? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE

fatphobia is a conservative ideology & we should have seen the writing on the wall for gen z’s politics when body positivity went out of style

Idk who needs to hear this but plan B is less effective if you’re over 155 lbs or BMI 30. The only thing that works as emergency contraception for fat people is getting the copper IUD
