Three years ago tonight, I was in the presence of the most remarkable supercell thunderstorm that I have ever had the privilege of witnessing. For over an hour, I watched it dance beneath the starts, spinning like a top. Mother nature will never cease to amaze, inspire, and humble me.
Life is turning into fighting a fuckin' hydra this month. Really don't know how much longer I can put up with everything without having a serious hard mental crash.
Just a couple hundred miles from Mexico's southwestern coast, Hurricane Polo strengthens even further. Polo has recently recorded a central pressure of 892 millibars, making it the second most-intense Eastern Pacific hurricane on record, behind 2015's Hurricane Patricia.
This month has just been continous pummeling. Neighbor's cat passed in front of my house sometime in the last 24 hours, had to do right thing and be bearer of bad news.
Joyous happy day. Because I'm not completely overtaxed with everything else in the world. At least I broke down close enough to mechanic to limp there but damn. Probably coolant pump again if I had to guess.

Did more today. I'm starting to run out of mulch so I cut more bamboo down. Also got my onions covered in mulch and garden fencing. Refreshed the long flowerpots. And I got a ton of brassicas planted with my last attempt at Tiny Tim and Gold Nugget tomatoes this season. Exhausted.
Hectic couple of days. Got some stuff done in the garden this weekend but time was limited. Yesterday I found more strawberry runners so I am trying again in a different way. I also fertilized and added cardboard under a lot of plants. Got a free sweet potato plant out of it.
