The lovely Nant-y-Llyn a beuty of an upland river ,with its terriced small falls ,definetly worth a return to see them with there waterlevels alot higher 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hieracium reticulatiforme (Reticulate-leaved Hawkweed) a native british endemic scattered over scottland and pushing south into yorkshire ,here it is at its most southerley and only welsh locality ,on the top of a small watetfall on the Nant-y-Llyn 18.7.26 ,a beuty of a section foliosa species 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hieracium tavense (Black mountain Hawkweed) a rare welsh endemic ,restricted to the Nant-y-Llyn a small upland river in the upper Tawe valley , found by Augustine Ley in 1899,it is only known from an unstable cliff on the North side of small waterfall and that is its wourld population 18.7.26🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hieracium prenanthoides (Rouh-leaved Hawkweed) only two sites for Wales for this species, Craig Cwm Ddu that i will visit next weekend and here pictured on Tarron yr Esgob,i found it on Tarron in its known locality,just a handfull of plants, but also discovered a new unknown locality of 30+ plants 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A visit last weekend to the Magnificent Tarron yr Esgob ,a four kilometer long red sandstone Escarpment in the Llanthoney valley in the Black Mountains in wales , 8 hours saterday & 10 hours sunday searching this steep and rugged habitat for its bryophite assemblage 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
