The downside of a background in TTRPG design is you get really good at understanding systems, mechanics, rules, balance. So when you play a videogame you can recognize immediatly "here is how id improve this" with absolutely no skills to actually make that happen.

Hytale occupies alot of my thoughts. I dont think its just because its a fun game, i think its because it reminds me so much of the old social aspects of mmo's. How quickly i was able create moments, join in communities,and make friends is something much of the game industry now just lacks.
