I gave Metal: Hellsinger a shot! I like metal, and it was sitting in my library for ages, so why not? Unfortunately, it left me pretty disappointed. What seemed like a match made in heaven on paper is, in reality, bogged down by repetitive and underbaked gameplay.

It was fun at first, but despite it being extremely short it still managed to overstay its welcome.

The breaking point for me was dying to the difficulty spike that is the final boss, only to be forced back to the very start of the final level. By that point, I was already done, frankly.

Anyway, what's the point in a game that clearly wants you to be a gunslinger when you can get by just fine using a singular weapon? Where is the incentive and the variety in level/enemy design to get me to actually use my arsenal that, mind you, is limited by a loadout system that feels completely pointless? What I'm getting at is that this game is held back MASSIVELY by how underbaked it is at its core.

Good music though. basically just a solid metal album. neat!

Does this world really deserve a game like Needy Streamer Overload when some folks' takeaway will be that they wish they had a crazy gf like Ame? Guys. I don't think fetishizing mental illness was the point of the game LOL
