i've sort of given up on really trying to promote my music on Youtube. i'll upload it there (if i remember to) but i don't really push it further than that bc the algorithm is inscrutable and i feel like i sometimes get punished by it for being active lol. it's so weird!

everyone i've seen quote this has mentioned at least 1 thing that's gotten better over the past 40 years. i'm starting to think that things are actually generally better than they were 40 years ago. i'll add to it: global infant mortality rates have dropped by over half since the 90's.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

preaching to the choir i'm sure, but if you make things using a computer, remember to back your stuff up!! i'd recommend usb flash drives or something else that's actually physically in your home instead of just relying on cloud storage (tho def back ur stuff up online too, if you can)

i'm making a video look like it was recorded to VHS, but forgot that it should probably be 4:3 instead of 16:9. but you know what it's fine, because there are only so many things i can stand to be dissatisfied with, and this cannot be one of them.
