Someone please tell Trump that we don't enter into alliances like NATO and establish military bases around the world because we're altruistic. It's because that's in our best interest. Limiting aggression + providing foreign aid increases our power. When we don't do that, others fill the void.

I keep hearing that Dems--especially young Dems--want someone who will "fight for them." Maybe the first order of business is to get rid of the people that you have to fight against. Folks, you may not have the perfect candidate. But ANY Dem will remove much of the pressure and improve things.

Among new Constitutional Amendments we need is one that makes one of two things true: either 1) the POTUS can sue or be sued; or 2) POTUS can neither sue nor be sued. The current condition is unacceptable. POTUS cannot (for all practical purposes) be sued, be can freely sue to intimidate.

When will Trump issue an Executive Order declaring that, henceforth, the sun will rise in the west and set in the east. Or repealing the law of gravity. Or making it a crime for anyone but the New York Yankees to be MLB's champion. All of which make as much sense as those he's issued lately.

According to Leigh Ann Caldwell, 49% of people on Medicaid voted for Trump, while 47% voted for Harris. Given those stats, it's hard to have much sympathy for those among that 49% who lose their health insurance. It's just too bad that their poor choices have an impact on so many others.
