Our new paper on olfactory plasticity has just been published in Cortex 🧵 Some people with a healthy sense of smell are unable to perceive a few selected odors, a phenomenon known as specific anosmia. We checked if people can gain some perception of these smells via training.
I genuinely enjoyed The Forgotten Sense by Jonas Olofsson. It covers multiple areas of smell research in an engaging way, making it a great read for both experts and those just discovering the field. Congratulations @jokriolo.bsky.social!
Can babies tell good from evil? With 1000+ babies, we tried replicating classic moral psychology finding that infants prefer helpful characters. But... babies chose randomly between helper/hinderer puppets:/ Props to KelseyLucca, Francis Yuen & @jkileyhamlin.bsky.social for leading the project!
🚨Publication Alert!🚨 The ManyBabies4 paper is out! 37 labs around the world tested over 1,000 babies in the largest investigation of infants' social evaluation to date. doi.org/10.1111/desc...
Excited to share that starting December, I’ll be switching my role at the Institute of Psychology, University of Wrocław, to an assistant professor. Looking forward to this new chapter!
