We hosted a Rental Ripoff Hearing for students alongside @mayor.nyc.gov Zohran Mamdani. Student after student shared their own landlord horror story — and spoke directly with Mamdani about finally holding bad landlords accountable.
Zohran Mamdani: "We will protect tenants from bad landlords block by block. We will support tenant unions block by block. We will deliver some of the strongest and most expansive tenant protections in the United States of America block by block."
Zohran: "We will deliver on the promise we made in our campaign to build 200,000 affordable, permanently rent-stabilized homes. And we will go beyond that and preserve and stabilize 200,000 more."
