Following an angel.

Aziraphale and I are heading to London early this morning. Nina and Maggie invited us over for brunch. A few others from Whickber Street will be there too - people we haven't seen in quite a while. They even got in touch with Adam. He's still living in Tadfield, though he's a young man now...

4:00 AM, the cottage bedroom: Something very lovely about Crowley is that he doesn't require me to be a Certain Way, and things I might say or how I act doesn't embarrass him, because he says he loves all the Strange bits about me almost more that the Normal ones. โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿโœจ๏ธ

Cottage bedroom, time... no one should be up this early! Aziraphale's asleep. Not just sleeping, but deep asleep. Doesn't happen very often. I lift the bedcovers and slither over to his side of the bed, careful not to wake him.

Yesterday, when I checked on the little bunny... when I became the Serpent and burrowed myself in the dirt, it reminded me of the Garden of Eden. Contrary to believes they didn't tell me it was the angel who'd gard the eastern gate. Hence the surprise and joy I felt the moment I saw him. Aziraphale.

I started around midday, kept lugging bits and pieces into the greenhouse. Told the angel this morning not to come into the greenhouse, whatever he'd hear. Aziraphale was curled up with his book, occasionally peering over the top of it whenever there was an especially enthusiastic clatter.

Aziraphale was in really high spirits today despite the heat - all thanks to his bunny rescue mission. He talked about it all day long. Exactly the kinds of moments that make me fall in love with the angel all over again... if that's even possible. ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Cottage bedroom, time? Donโ€™t ask! Aziraphale must have fallen asleep while reading. Took off his glasses and the book from his hands. Went down to the kitchen and made a pot of tea and a big cup of six-shots espresso for me. Back in our bedroom I sat on our bed, placed the tray in the middle โ€ฆ
