I watched the backrooms! It was better than i expected. The best bits were of course the found footage ones, but i did also like the other segments. I think it could have done with being a little bit longer, if only to give us more time with the cast.

I should totally redraw some of these guys. My skills were iffy, but some of those designs are kinda neato

I've been swamped with stuff and unable to work on big pieces- but here's some #chainsawman OCs! This was mostly an exercise in character/creature design- there's little story behind them rn. But i wanted to explore part of the setting away from the main story. More info in alt text #csm

"Set in the Uk in the year 1983, Fear the Moon follows Mai Flets and her Journey after being dragged into a conspiracy involving public safety."

"A series of illegal horror stories are found by her fellow students, and hundreds of people begin waking up with the names of fears written across their skin. Devils related to each story, having grown in strength, begin attacking- taking advantage of the mass memory loss affecting even novice devil hunters to bring havoc."

Water fiend - a girl with water pouring from her eyes and mouth. She's wearing a British Navy uniform from the 60s

Cat Fiend - who has repaired and taken over the body of Sacha Alessander. She has big furry arms, 2 irises in each eye, and 7 ears on her head- each one representing a life she has left

Mai Flets - a Pakistani/English girl wearing her school uniform. She's got a large blade on her back

Normal Macflay - an evil looking guy with long hair

Flower Fiend - a beheadded corpse taken over by flowers

Declan Doss - an English boy wearing the same uniform as Mai- there's scars across his face.

The public safety leaders- a very scarred man in a suit, and a woman with a scar on her forehead

The torture fiend - a gagged and blindfolded man, bleeding from removed eyes, with bruises around his neck and nails in his forehead

Sacha Alessander - a girl with purple hair wearing the same uniform as Mai and Declan

Dementia Devil - a figure remoniscent of death from seventh seal. Its face is blank, with censored eyes. Brain matter lays pooled at its feet- greying. A brain-like Worm circles it- eating memories with one mouth and throwing them up with the other.

The moon devil - an enormous blue orb that splits in half to reveal a creepy face in the gory middle. Figures with linked arms circle its outside

The ink devil - a mess of ink with teeth and fountain pens- its main body/heart is stored in the ink pot on its back. it's got very tiny eyes and several limbs

I watched iron lung! It was just okay. I appreciate what it was going for, but I never couldn't get into it. I also watched my adventures with superman, which I enjoyed. I also also watched Alien stage! I liked it, but I think I'll get more into it over time as I learn more.

I watched war robot. The start was slow and kind of boring, but once the film got started it was non stop action setpieces. I'm a little iffy on the end reveal, but I don't necessarily dislike it. Tbh this just feels like what you'd get if the first predator movie was made today.

I watched cabin in the woods 2016. It wasn't very good, and the ending twist was insanely predictable. There was about one funny joke throughout, and every character was insufferable. Too many dogs died for my liking too.

I watched the last season of #theboys. It's was okay. A massive downgrade from seasons 1 and 2, but it followed the show's downward trend. It felt way too small scale, and way too few characters actually died. The last episode was good, but not enough to make up for an overall bad season.

This week's episode of the boys kinda sucked. Like two people that matter have died across the entire "nobody is safe" season, one of them is a villain, and the other was offscreen. I actually like quite a bit about this season. At the very least, it's better than gen V. But I doubt it'll end well.

Make the exorcist fall in love was crazy good this week. This past few arcs have just been back to back to back peak. If you wish chainsaw man part 2 did more with the apocalypse- this manga is doing it as of this last chapter.

I watched Project Hail Mary! It's great, probably one of my favourite movies of the year so far. If you can, go in without any spoilers. I'd argue it's the best space movie since interstellar. It also includes some interesting spec evo, which is always nice.

I watched invincible S4! This season was probably the best. If not by itself then tied with the last one. I don't really like the direction Nolan and Debbie seem to be going in, though. I also watched monarch season 2! Its pretty good. Better than the first.

Manaka the human and the slaughter robot ended :( very good, very gay. It wasn't axed, so the plot feels complete. I'll be looking out for the author's next work :D I definitely recommend reading this one. It's 8 chapters, so not really an investment.

I watched Avatar 3 It's a James Cameron avatar movie, so you kind of get what's written on the tin. Sci-fi set pieces and cool creatures. Imo the film delivers that. If JC isn't a coward, the next movie will revolve around the brewing homoerotic enemies to lovers arc.

I am a little bit stressed. I do not have enough money for the expenses I have, but I dont think I can afford to raise the price of my commissions. Commissions are my way to keep creative, and I love making so many; it's my only relaxation moment in my days. I'm really unsure how to proceed here.
