As I've been spending more time in the gym, I've thought about learning how to fight. I've thought about boxing, but thanks to 25ish years of DDR, my legs are my strongest muscles by a long shot. So maybe something like Muay Thai would be a better fit. Less Balrog, more Sagat.

"You know PlayStation isn't going to reverse their policy, right?" Wow, good point. I'll just throw my beliefs aside and only buy digital PS games I don't own, then. That's what you want me to say, right?

I'm pretty sure adulthood is just hitting the point when the weekend comes around, you're ready to recover from the last work week, but then look at your garage and think, "... We could use more shelving on that wall," and not resting till that wall has at least 7 more shelves for storage.

This console generation: Sony: You'll own nothing and pay us for the privilege. And D2 is stupid. Play Marathon instead. Microsoft: Damn, you like every other studio we had and don't play COD? Here's us not giving a fuck. Nintendo: Star Fox and Zelda are cool, huh? Also, here's a talking flower.

I'm not saying we don't have problems and issues here in the U.S. Good lord though. I'm not even a soccer fan, and all these foreigners coming over here for the World Cup, discovering how cool America is when even I've forgotten at times, everyone welcoming them, everyone happy...

Thoughts on the Steam Machine: The price is not ideal, and it's obvious that it's fucking AI's fault. At the same time, if that's the price for never having to entertain Sony and Microsoft's bullshit ever again while playing multiplayer games for free, I reluctantly say, "So be it."

THIS! The industry is in BAD shape thanks to poor planning/acquisitions and spending by the people in charge, who have now been sold a silver bullet in AI to solve this and are learning 1) it's not a silver bullet but a band aid at best and 2) it's negatively effecting sales when used!

i agree i don't think you need generative AI to make crazy taxi. I think generative AI is being applied as a bandaid solution for videogame production being a bloated visionless mess piloted by shareholders

Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inward peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset. ~ Francis de Sales Je Shen (China b. 1973)

Splatoon Raiders? More like "Oops, All Salmon Run." It looks alright, but it feels like the Side Order DLC from Splatoon 3 was a proof of concept, and now Raiders is going full force with the same idea. I don't know if that's gonna be worth a full game's price. #Splatoon
