So glad to finally have the movie ‘The Ugly’ on blu-ray! It’s awesome! It’s a horror movie about a psychologist interviewing a serial killer. If you’ve never seen it, I highly recommend it!

AC update: It appears there are two leaks on the pipe going into the back of the outside unit, so it’s low on refrigerant and inside unit was freezing up. The tech said he doesn’t have the parts to fix it today, but he’s gonna refill the refrigerant, then schedule a time to fix the leak.

My just barely a year old central air unit decided to stop working today. I called to see if I could get someone out to look at it, and they could, but it’d an extra fee, which is fine. But, it starts up again, so they say we can reschedule for Monday and avoid the fee. 30 minutes later it stops.🤦‍♂️

I saw a video the other day with the title “Are Boneless Chocolate Chip Cookies worth making?” And I’m like, what the hell is a boneless chocolate chip cookie? I watch part of the video, and they say it’s chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips. So, cookies… 😑

I decided to watch the movie ‘Cypher’ today, since I’d never seen it. And since it’s got a cyberpunk vibe, I thought I’d follow it up with ‘eXistenZ’, since I haven’t seen it in quite a long time! 😎

Get this! FedEx tried to deliver a package to my house that had a totally different number and address on it! Caught the driver just in time, so he took it back. A few minutes later my wife gets a delivery notice for a package she was waiting on, and the picture is not our house. 🙃🤦‍♂️

Today I’m gonna watch some semi-obscure View Askew movies, Vincent Pereira’s ‘A Better Place’, Malcolm Ingram and Matthew Gissing‘s ‘Drawing Flies’ and Bryan Johnson’s ‘Vulgar’! 😁

I finally got to watch Obsession and damn was that a messed up movie! I like that it’s sort of unnerving from the start, but is a bit of a slow burn until it finally boils over and all hell breaks loose. Absolutely insane, but I loved it!

Yesterday (June 19th) was the 14th year since my dad’s passing. So as is our tradition on “Grandpa’s Day”, @caseyhowley.bsky.social and I had lunch at BJ’s Brewhouse! We always try to do something fun after, so this year we went out to see the movie ‘Backrooms’! We had a really nice time. 😊

Since it’s national Bourbon day, my brother came over and we had some 10 year Old Rip Van Winkle, then we had a little Jack Daniels that my dad bought in the 90’s! My brother inherited the bottle, so he brings it over every now and then for us to try. It’s held up surprisingly well. 😁🥃
