Oh yeah, I forgor, when at Llangollen, Ember not only met her base model, but RAN with her, which is impressive considering they're different gauges...!
Bluesky exclusive; Stanhopes preview, because holy shit this is gonna look good when lined...!!
Am I that good? ....you know once in a blood moon am I allowed to think I am?
I was also given the wonderful opportunity to operate Gerry on the Llechfan Garden Railway, alongside some of my fellows in the 16mm NG Association, over the weekend! Below are some of my favourite shots… (Feat. Enfys and Lucy, owned by @mrjoj.bsky.social)
Oh yeah, before I forgor; This is my newest engine "Lucy". She's a bootlane works "Eleanor" kit and is easily become one of the darlings of my fleet~
Hello all, I forgot about my Bluesky account, how have you all been?
Does make me wonder if someone's taken a picture of FR No. 20 with a little green smudge on the buffer beam...
a part 2 of sorts to something i uploaded in my twitter days. for @mrjoj.bsky.social #digitalart #commission
a piece for my good buddy @84fstudios.bsky.social - he will shortly be in possession of An Guy and wanted some faces to go with him. #commission #digitalart
As well as Enfys, Ember proved herself a versatile little engine by pulling the skarloey heritage rake. That being said I might have to invest in some corris coaches because she looked at home with that in tow...!
One thing that I do see as an absolute achievement is Enfys. In a 16mm form was designed from the ground up by me and spent those glorious days being pulled or propelled around lechfann without a single bind or jam up. The next process is now motorising her!
All set for awdry next week, Including an array of Dumb headboards to come with them!
Looking forward to Llangollen tomorrow, the fleet has been oiled and serviced, here's to hoping they're well liked by the crowds. If you see any of these three running around, I won't be too far away...!
I dunno about you, as time goes on, these awdry events I feel have become a little less about the funny blue little train, but more about meeting the ones who've been brought to Tywyn by him. That's what I've enjoyed most about the awdry events.
So my recent trip to Scotland made Fuqnoes live up to her bastard lineage. Her resin printed tanks had some uncured resin pockets in them. When we went on the plane, this pressurized that pocket and she proceeded to upchuck resin your Chihuahua threw up in your white bag...! Love her really.
Unfortunately I couldn't make the Stoneleigh exhibition, but Ember was brought along to the model of the year competition by a friend. While she didn't win, I'm impressed she made it as far as she did...!
Hello all, just me carrying on the age old tradition of rebuilding engines certified little goobers, this is my latest 16mm binge engine "Little Success"
From beauty to Bastard. Say hello to the latest bastard Bagnall to enter the 16mm realm; "Fuqnoes"
Ember saw her first run in public at the midland garden railway show this weekend. She was definitely turning heads when she trundled round. I didn't think it would be as fun as it was, but low and behold, going to need to find out where I can do this more often...!
Here is why I point and laugh at people who think MSR's Jim is a Skylark. Here's how big a Skylark is compared to a TR slate wagon. I reiterate. For 2ft-ish gauge engines, they're... ENORMOUS
i was let go from my job with no notice. i'd be very grateful for anything in the mean time. if you cannot afford to donate, please share. love you all.
So after freshly repairing my 3d printer, what's a sensible thing for a test print? Design and print a new fucking brakevan body in 16mm obviously smh.
