Learned about "All Ten" from @mrslobodnick.bsky.social when learning about "Supporting Mathematical Rich Tasks Using AI and Technology" today at #ITCamp2025 took me until the night to finally get 2 and 3 but I got all ten!!!

Day 30: My Grade 5s learned about the harmful effects of homophobia today and what it means to be a LGBTQ+ ally, then they created pins after learning what my rainbow pin means and why I wear it everyday to school, some very creative pin designs! #EDUsky

Day 28: We used Color Me Creative from #EMC2Learning as our activity in Text Quest today, students had to create nail polish that went with a scene from their book, the twist - the winner of the previous challenge got to pick a colour that each group couldn't use! @meehanedu.bsky.social #EDUsky

Day 26: Wanted to spotlight a couple of poetry picture books that I recently purchased for my class! They are a big hit with my grade 4/5s! Poems about science, poems told in comic form and fairy tales told in verse then in reverse! #EDUsky

Day 24: New to #EMC2Learning try one of their Penny Pedagogies like Upside Down Understanding, students get the chance to dream up an alternate universe for information they’ve learned in class, think of it as adding a little multiverse fun to your classroom! @meehanedu.bsky.social #EDUsky

Day 23: Had a little time at the end of the day to do a little bookcase organizations, not done yet but a good start! These are my read alouds, education books, book club books and my mentor texts as well as my Lego! #EDUsky

Day 21: My Grade 5s are learning about a Canadian First Nation of their choosing using Triple Threat Throwdown from #EMC2Learning students used sketchnotes, Story Dice and Lego to show their learning. Day 15: Used #EMC2Learning Story Dice for the first time this year (won't wait this long next year!) and got them to look at a Storyworks article about this old lunch box selling for over ten thousand dollars, really thing they understand the power of Story Dice now! @meehanedu.bsky.social #EDUsky

Day 14: Getting all the students' 3D designed wrenches ready, I gamified this by using a vignette about coming across a tressure chest that needs to be opened, if students' wrenches can turn the bolt (all bolts are different sizes) they get the treasures inside! @meehanedu.bsky.social #EDUsky

Day 12: I'm working with a pre-service teacher and we have been talking about assessment so I introduced her to #EMC2Learning Single Point Rubric! Day 11: Since I started gamifying I have had Mistwraith that takes away a space for an item card from a student's card holder, they have asked "How do I remove it?" years later, a student designed a card to solve that very problem!!! @meehanedu.bsky.social @mrmatera.bsky.social #EMC2Learning #EDUsky

Day 10: Thanks to Harrietsfield Elementary, who gave me funds to purchase 4 copies of each of these nonfiction books for my new nonfiction book club! I've had success with my students reading novels in their book clubs so now I'm building my nonfiction collection! @meehanedu.bsky.social #EDUsky
