Gonna start a business and the business is an app of eye contact drills so that Gen Z can fix themselves.

They should do a prequel in the same Odyssey extended universe where we get to see more about the Troy stuff, Agamemnon, and meet other of the heroes.
When you call USAA and they call you Rank Surname
So Argentina won the Falkland Islands rematch. We almost would’ve had a Spanish armada rematch. Instead we have like… a Jose San Martin vs King Ferdinand VII rematch.
He put the eggs away and knew that it would add chaos to that morning, but he did it anyway and he smiled and ate his scramble.
I would be so proud to see the president give 250 minutes of speech about our nation tomorrow, one minute for every year, perhaps while wearing an original uniform of George Washington from 1776.
Spotify lossless does sound pretty good for any hi-fi geek and I'm not sure what the Tidal or Qobuz argument is anymore.
Plastic bottles for water are banned from my home. It least if you’re gonna waste plastic needlessly, do it for something with value-add like syrupy carbonated water.
nothing gives me the ick as much as people who refuse to drink tap water potable water on demand for a price so low that it is functionally free is one of the greatest achievements of mankind
Why do they even stream the Lindsay songs when people only really want the Stevie songs?
As a Spanish speaker, I still find it bizarre that the store “Chicos” is, apparently, not a menswear store.
If they genetically eradicated thistle weed nothing bad would happen and only good would happen. In fact you’d probably have less toxic Monsanto use. Just eradicate thistle. There’s no reason for it to exist.
Reflecting pool is one step from being tentacle porn
People should be able to once annually use their 401ks to pay for home debt or student debt, penalty free. Tax the withdrawal, no penalty. Because reducing debt = building wealth, so why compel someone to “invest” at x% when they can reduce debt at a known 5-15% guaranteed. It’s the same thing!
I’m so High Millennial that I cannot for the life of me fear past in my head that $35k gets you a BMW 3 series entry luxury car, a nice Accord is like $15-20-ish depending on upspecs, and $20-30 is like SUVs depending on specs. I refuse to adjust that price anchoring.
probably one of the most efficiency-improving AI things I find is its ability to QC a technical write up against an excel or csv model outputs. I find it quite good at simply reconciling report text to output, especially if you are making many changes last minute and easily get tripped up.
I like that it’s been eight different champions for eight years
Sorta concerned about Mr. Noodle’s cognitive health.
I thought tickets were hard to come by and like a bajillion dollars why’s the stadium look like it’s at 65-70% only ?
anyone else have a hispanic mom who will literally just sit and watch mass and Spanish rosaries on TV?
Your constant use of two word sentences is a vary obvious AI writing tell. Lazy execution. Fake boldness. It’s not effective, it’s distracting.
I’ll never comprehend wearing shorts on a flight. Airports and planes are so filthy it just seems so unclean to do so.
If companies aren’t paying for AI tools and protecting their data it’s setting up a perverse incentive for many employees to pay for their own AI costs out of pocket. For lower-paid employees in the knowledge economy this sets up a class divide for those with money to pay $200/mo and others
Chait seems to think it’s dispositive of anti-monopolist theory that Walmart was supplanted by Amazon. I mean it’s not. If markets operate like the Sith, with a master and a jealous apprentice who will kill him, that’s not quite a free market working. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
A Sweeping Theory of Everything Is Revolutionizing the Democratic Party
Democrats are in thrall to the idea that corporate consolidation is America’s biggest, and maybe only, problem.

Me: “doc says to shut down internet stuff an hour or more before bed. I should read books. Let me buy some ebooks for my reader” ::searches for books so I won’t be as stressed at night, but also interesting:: ….
I don’t get Anglophile people: if one has a double barrel last name (no hyphen) and you’re gonna go and drop one of them, why in the world would you drop the FIRST one? (We went with Spanish convention for my daughter.)
Intellectually I get that Jupiter is huge and heavy because I get physics, but part of me wants to refuse it can be that massive while not having a rocky core and being mostly gas.
