#booksky Latest read-Jack Vance-The Houses of Iszm-an Earth botanist becomes an unwitting mule in a plot to smuggle valuable plot seeds of an alien world. Part of an Ace Double (there's another Vance story on the flip side). A very quick, entertaining read.

Tonight's viewing-filling a gap in my movies watched-Akira-the 25th Anniversary Edition. First time watching this. My anime viewing is rather thin overall, but i'm slowly watching some of the big ones I've never seen.

#booksky #comicsky Latest read-The 90s edition of George Lowther's 1942 novel The Adventures of Superman. Found out about this when I saw booktuber Michael K. Vaughan post on Goodreads. I found a copy via ILL to read and it is such a fun adventure. The intro by Roger Stern is very informative.

Tornado warning just issues. Hunkering down. It seems 1 touched down in the corner of the next county over & was headed in our direction. Looks like it's broke up before it hit our county though, but the warning lasts for another 5 minutes. Pouring rain and thunderstorms currently, lights flickering
