After getting back in the Final Fantasy X mood over the weekend, I watched some ending reactions on YT (never watched these before) and I am glad to see I am not the only one that still gets emotional over it. That being said, the Japanese ending is superior and you will never change my mind.

I was very sad today to hear that Robert "Bobby" Prince passed away at 81. Industry legend. Pioneer. Wholesome human. Bobby composed the music for Wolfenstein, Doom, Spear of Destiny, Duke Nukem and many more. My thoughts go out to his wife, Connie, and his two sons. Thanks for everything Bobby😔

I've been in this industry for 30+ years, made deals with the biggest guys, spent hours going over ridiculously overbearing 'legalese', battled with the toughest licensors protecting their IPs, and yet I feel like the way we do business improves the most when I make a deal with small indies.

This might be the worst, most detached from reality, take on anything video game related I have seen since Phil Fish's "Japanese games suck". I rate it only slightly better than Notch's racist and misogynistic comments.

Here is a strange call: we look for a gamedev producer! Imagine we are opening a publishing house soon. Imagine we love thoughtful narrative games, games with mysteries and novel experiences. And imagine we're looking for a producer who would love to work with these kind of games. Maybe it's you?⤵️

Sometimes you work on a graphic for a project presentation and then you can't stop staring at it for the next 10 minutes straight because it suddenly hits you what you've done in your career. 🤨

A graph depicting a per-platform breakdown of games I have worked on during my career, totaling 224 games.

I'm looking for work. 21 years of experience. • any game art, isometric, top-down, side-scroll • stylized or realistic • characters, icons, key art, animation • Can build a style from zero or match yours • Big projects don't scare me • ex Minecraft DM here or email christina.neofotistou@gmail.com

I saw this a while back and copied it to make my own - fun exercise - but boy, is it hard to make choices. I have trouble calling anything "best" anyway. But hey, I tried...but now I can't find the original post anymore to quote post. Sorry, whoever I stole this from!
