Going back to this image, I'm just realizing that the first time a Kamen Rider reference might've been made in Yugioh was not on one of the cards, but rather, in the anime when henchman Kemo did this sick "Rider Rick" against Tristan in the "Ghost Kaiba" episode during Duelist Kingdom.

I've been listening to LittleKuriboh's Yugioh Abridged commentaries for the 20th anniversary and I gotta say, I've got a soft spot for Kemo. He gets both the "Attention Duelists" and "My Hair" running gags that still get me. It's almost not fair. "But my hair gives me the power to defy gravity."
This is really cool! It also means we're only like a dozen steps away from having me cameo in any sort of media. Just have MrTopTenList as a passing voice on the radio or something.

For the next video, I'm finally capitalizing on that "Normal Ladies on Yugioh Cards" idea. I'm finding the most basic of ladies they've ever put on cards.
Ever since I clicked that one Yoruichi clip, my feed has been flooded with Yoruichi...which is good! She's neat. Also, anyone else think getting "God of Thunder" written on your ass before you deliver an ever-lovin' beatdown is actually one of the coolest things ever?
When someone says “I love it when a plan comes together,” isn’t that assumed? You don’t need to state it. Who doesn’t like it when a plan comes together? I’ve never met anyone who is like “oh, I’m neutral on if this plan comes together or not.”

On the topic of Tenchi ending themes, nothing beats "Talent for Love" for me. Still on one of my main playlists. The "days are like hours, hours like minutes" line was stuck in my head from the first time I heard it. Couldn't find a Toonami rip of it, but it's too good to ignore!

With the Tenchi Muyo revival confirmed, gotta bring back the nostalgia of those Toonami end credits with the ambient music. I wish I could just autoplay this in my head when going to sleep. "Talent for Love" is the better ending theme, but this tune is such soothing nostalgia.
