Well, sure. Sardarian was drafted out of Russia (not the NCAA) in 2021, so his rights don’t expire until he turns 27 (he’s currently 23). Release says he’ll report to AHL Chicago but he doesn’t currently have a contract - not that he needs an NHL one to play for the Wolves.

The #Canes have acquired forward Stiven Sardarian from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for future considerations. Details » www.nhl.com

Post office really needs a “grown folks who know what they’re doing” express line and dedicate everything else to the people holding a stack of papers, a cantaloupe, and a crushed Amazon box who “just want to get this to Arizona”

When you’re a kid you think you’re going to do something when you grow up that will be exciting or change the world then you do grow up and find out work is a 10 email chain of people going back and forth over who will fill out a four field online form

If you think the slop I put out for my newsletter is written by AI because I use em dashes you have a very bad understanding of AI. AI wishes it could generate the segues, tangents, obscure references, & rambling that forgets the main point of the paragraph that years of mental illness have produced

Authors and journalists are doing more first-person (hello 2010s blogging) and embracing "mistakes" in writing to prove they're not chatbots. There's even an “anti-Grammarly" app that leaves in typos and signs off "sent from my iPhone" to create more authenticity: www.wired.com/story/more-t...

Fun fact: Seeley filing for arbitration means that the Canes will have a second 48h buyout window that begins on the third day after a player's salary arbitration case is settled or awarded. This buyout window is only for players making $4mil or more. No reason I’m sharing this. 👀
